On Saturday, Sep. 3rd, we were happy to talk about Full-Moon Festival in Vietnam thanks to Ms. Yumi's experience.
Yes, as you know, Vietnamese children like Full-Moon Festival where they can receive a lot of toys and they can eat lots of Moon cakes and fruits after the harvesting season. When I was a child,
we usually made toys by ourselves under the instruction of big brothers and/or sisters. In addition, the Moon Cakes used to be prepared by the parents and/or grandparents. However, recently, we
can buy many things for the Full-Moon Festival in a much convenient ways. Despite of this change, there are so many activities in this Festival with lots of excited traditional dances which are
not only attractive for the children, but also are excited for adults.

There is a very special festival in Sendai from Aug. 6-8. That is Tanabata Festival. In this festival, Sendai is filled with colorful Tanabata decorations which are made of paper. Therefore let’s spend time to talk about the topic of “Festival”.

By this meeting, we understood that "Disappointment" is not always bad, and in some cases, we need to find some positive things from it.
